I have had my fair share of photographer crushes over the years. I am always looking to push myself and my work, and I have found a few photographers who I aspire to be one day. Don’t get me wrong. You do not need to copy anybody…ever. You can’t expect to take yourself and your art to the next level if you do that. However, it is a good idea to find a few photographers that you look up to and use their artwork as motivation to improve your own. Here are 5 photographers you should follow on Facebook…like now.

Shelby is a young photographer from Georgia who is simply amazing. I have been following her work for years now, and she just keeps getting better and better. Her images are very fairy tale fantasy, and she is incredibly skilled in Photoshop. Her work has that ethereal painting quality that I’ve been working on in my own images.
If you aren’t following Jessica Drossin then shame on you! I imagine that most photographers have heard of this awesome lady or at least seen one of her images floating around the internet. Jessica is one of the first photographers that I really started following when I began my photography journey. Her work is hands down the level I would love my own to be at.
Jessica uses textures and her awesome Photoshop skills to create literal pieces of art. I mean it. They almost always look like paintings.
The best news is she shares some of her skills with us mere mortals. Jessica sells textures and Photoshop actions in her store. I own some of her textures and her beautiful world collection. Totally worth every cent.
Plus, she is super sweet!
Here is another amazing photographer that I have been following since the beginning of my photography obsession. Savannah is an incredible artist from Louisiana who is the queen of fairy tales. Almost all of her images have a fairy tale element to them, and her editing skills are top notch. It is always a delight to see what image she is going to share next.
If you want to check out her images then follow Savannah Kate on Facebook. She has some great behind the scenes SOOC images on her page as well!
Robert Cornelius is a fantastic composite photographer who I stumbled upon recently. I was looking for tips on expanding dresses in Photoshop, and I ran into his blog. You can see my image with my expanding dress below. He is such a wealth of information, and he shares his videos of speed edits! It is always useful to get to watch someone and the steps they take when editing.
Page Kuepper is a Fine Art Children’s photographer, and she is awesome! I love seeing her images pop up in my feed. She is also very generous. She is always giving away valuable information, and her videos are top notch (and super affordable).
Didn’t I tell you that I have too many photographer crushes? I hope you enjoyed this list, and you find some photographers who inspire you. Are there any photographers that you love to follow? Make sure to tell me in the comments.
